We can provide you with two different types of accommodation according to your needs and preferences.

homestays

Students are accommodated with a family in homestay accommodation, all of which have been inspected by the school to ensure they provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment to relax and study.

Homestays are located in residential areas around Bournemouth but not in the town centre itself. Many are within 20 minutes walk from the town centre or on a main bus route. During the high season, homestay locations could be farther out.

Inclusive in the price of homestay accommodation is breakfast and dinner everyday and also lunch at the weekends, bed linen, Wi-Fi and at least one laundry wash per week. (Extra laundry washes may be charged by the homestay).

residential accommodation

For summer only, July and August, we are able to offer student accommodation in one of the local University residences which is 10 minutes walk from school. There is a communal lounge and kitchen and each bedroom has a wardrobe, desk and TV, and clean bed linen is provided weekly. There is free wi-fi and also a laundry that services all the apartments.The price (£135 to £150 per week) is inclusive of all bills except food. Availability is limited.

If you would like to apply for this type accommodation, when completing the application form put ‘no’ for homestay and in the ‘other information field’ write ‘Student residence’ and number of weeks required. Please note you must be 18 or over to apply for this type of accommodation.

The  cost per week of homestay accommodation depends on the season. High season is between June and September. Homestay includes breakfast and dinner 7 days a week and lunch at the weekends.

low season (october - may)

Single Room - £135 per week

Twin Room - £125 per week - per person

high season (june - september)

Single Room - £160 per week

Twin Room - £145 per week - per person

* All accommodation is subject to a £45 arrangement fee.

** The school also advertises private accommodation such as self-catering shared houses and student hotels on its school notice board. Students can enter into private arrangements with the landlords, however, these properties have not been inspected. It is the school’s recommendation that a minimum of 2 weeks’ homestay accommodation is arranged before entering private accommodation. There are a many property letting agencies in Bournemouth if you are looking for a flat, flatshare or room and we also have information and advice at reception regarding the law  and renting.
